Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in 1970 and is five foot nine" tall American actor. Mitchell played her character Dr. Juliet Burke, a character from ABC's Lost. Gia the Escape Clause. Mitchell is co-starring with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both lawyers in Dallas. Mitchell as well as her mother and two children moved from New York, to Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother got married in 1975. Mitchell attended Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet high school. She is the eldest of three sisters the others including Kristina Kristie Mitchell, Helen Kristie Mitchell as well as Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell graduated in 1991 with the Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Stephens College. Mitchell also went to the British American Drama Academy.
